JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Software Engineer designs, builds, and optimizes high-quality web applications and cloud-native services using modern frameworks, containerization, and CI/CD practices. They collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions. With strong mentoring abilities and a commitment to best practices, they drive operational excellence and elevate team performance in fast-paced Agile environments.

Essential Functions

<ul>
	<li>Design, code, test, and debug applications and components that meet defined technical specifications and business requirements.</li>
	<li>Collaborate closely with lead engineers to develop optimal technical designs and approaches for new product development.</li>
	<li>Work with Business Analysts on requirements development and may assist with estimation.</li>
	<li>Promote and enforce best practices in software development and documentation, ensuring solutions meet requirements and are delivered on schedule.</li>
	<li>Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions, recommend alternative approaches, and guide engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines.</li>
	<li>Support operational excellence: build, deploy, monitor, and operate production services.</li>
	<li>Mentor and support the professional growth of other software engineers.</li>
</ul>

 
Job Qualifications

<ul>
	<li>Experience leveraging AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle to enhance quality and efficiency.</li>
	<li>5+ years of experience in full-lifecycle software development within an Agile environment.</li>
	<li>Hands-on experience building web applications and RESTful services.</li>
	<li>Proficiency with MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational database systems.</li>
	<li>Experience with .NET Core or similar object-oriented programming languages.</li>
	<li>Experience with Angular, React, or similar JavaScript frameworks/libraries.</li>
	<li>Experience with application containerization, deployment, and orchestration across environments.</li>
	<li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.</li>
	<li>Experience building cloud-native applications in Azure or comparable cloud platforms.</li>
	<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
</ul>

 
Preferences:

<ul>
	<li>Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.</li>
	<li>Foundational knowledge and troubleshooting ability for applications running in Kubernetes.</li>
	<li>Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and automated provisioning/configuration management.</li>
	<li>Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals and internet protocols.</li>
	<li>Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines.</li>
	<li>Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Flux, Argo CD).</li>
	<li>Understanding of encryption concepts, PKI, and OWASP security guidelines.</li>
	<li>Familiarity with LeSS (Large Scale Scrum) principles.</li>
</ul>
