<p>This role focuses on ensuring the stability, capability, and compliance of test stations and test processes across production and validation phases. The engineer will report to a team manager and work closely with cross-functional teams on test automation, data analysis, and process quality improvement initiatives.</p>

<p><strong>1. Test Station Quality Assurance</strong></p>

<ul>

	<p>Participate in QA activities for optical transceiver module test stations, including electrical, optical, and functional test platforms.</p>
	</li>

	<p>Verify that test stations and test processes meet product specifications, SOPs, and internal quality requirements.</p>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p>Perform test station qualification and GR&R activities following defined procedures.</p>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p>Support NPI, DVT, and PVT phases through test setup qualification and process validation.</p>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p>Monitor test station performance and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.</p>

<p><strong>2. Programming & Test Automation</strong></p>

	<p>Develop and maintain Python-based scripts and tools for test execution, data collection, and yield monitoring.</p>

	<p>Use SQL query, manage, and analyze manufacturing and test databases.</p>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p>Develop or maintain test applications using LabVIEW (preferred).</p>
	</li>

	<p>Interface with test equipment using standard communication protocols (e.g., GPIB, USB, Ethernet).</p>

	<p>Experience using Python to communicate with test equipment is a plus.</p>

He/She should have experience with front-end and back-end-of-line, and packaging processing. 	<p>Hands-on experiences on sample Preparation & Imaging: Utilize <a href="https://www.indeed.com/q-failure-analysis-engineer-sem-tem-fib-jobs.html">Focused Ion Beam (FIB)</a> to prepare TEM samples and perform high-resolution imaging (HR-STEM) to identify defects at the atomic level.</p>
	</li>

	<p>Root Cause Analysis: Analyze structural, electrical, and physical defects in semiconductor devices, identifying issues related to yield, reliability, or process.</p>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p>Material Characterization: Apply Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX/EDS) and other analytical techniques (SIMS, XPS, SEM) to characterize materials.</p>
	</li>
	<li>
	<p>Reporting & Collaboration: Document findings in detailed technical reports, present data to cross-functional teams (design, process, QA), and support continuous improvement initiatives.</p>

	<p>Equipment Maintenance: Ensure high uptime of TEM/FIB equipment through routine calibration and troubleshooting.</p>

<p><strong>I. POSITION OBJECTIVE</strong></p>
<p>To assist in research and development projects and support engineers in the daily needs of projects and to conduct Q/C testing to support Production units and monitor product quality.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>II. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p>1. &nbsp; &nbsp;Calibrate, maintain and operation of Instruments and equipment.<br>2. &nbsp; &nbsp;Analyze Samples, final product and raw materials.<br>3. &nbsp; &nbsp;Pilot plant operations and polymerization reactions.<br>4. &nbsp; &nbsp;Complete paperwork as required.<br>5. &nbsp; &nbsp;Troubleshoot and repair instruments.<br>6. &nbsp; &nbsp;Attend project meetings and contribute to the projects discussed.<br>7. &nbsp; &nbsp;Review and evaluate data and communicate all findings to other departments, management or engineers.<br>8. &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintain Lab logbooks.<br>9. &nbsp; &nbsp;Complete QC Analysis for Process.<br>10. &nbsp; &nbsp;Attend Safety and Departmental Training<br>11. &nbsp; &nbsp;Adhere/Implement/educate/train and adhere to all company policies and &nbsp; &nbsp;procedures including but not limited to, ISO, personnel, quality, environmental, health, safety, Federal and State laws, regulatory and company requirements<br>12. &nbsp; &nbsp;Comply with NTG (Nothing Touching the Ground) requirements. Including daily audits.<br>13. &nbsp; &nbsp;Be active in Operation Clean Sweep, and ensure employees are aware of and accountablefor pellet loss prevention, containment, cleanup and disposal.<br>14. &nbsp; &nbsp;Operate a vehicle both in plant and on public roadways<br>15. &nbsp; &nbsp;Work outside normal shift hours as needed.<br>16. &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintain regular and reliable attendance.<br>17. &nbsp; &nbsp;Perform other duties as assigned</p>
<p><strong>III. &nbsp; &nbsp;QUALIFICATIONS</strong><br><strong>A. TECHNICAL JOB CRITERIA&nbsp;</strong></p>
<p><strong>1. Previous Related Experience Required</strong><br>High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of eight hours of college-level chemistry; or an associate degree in Chemical Technology (Laboratory); or three years of industrial laboratory experience; or at least 15 consecutive months of experience in a Polyolefins, PVC, or Polymer Analysis laboratory. Experience in plastic converting processes and testing is preferred.</p>
<p><strong>2. Technical Skills Required to Perform This Job</strong><br>1. &nbsp; &nbsp;Lab Instrumentation;<br>2. &nbsp; &nbsp;Processing Machines;<br>3. &nbsp; &nbsp;Personal Computer (including programs such as spreadsheets, word processors, and data bases.);<br>4. &nbsp; &nbsp;Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS);<br>5. &nbsp; &nbsp;Good interpersonal and communication skills.</p>
<p><strong>3. Education&nbsp;</strong><br>High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of eight hours of college-level chemistry, or an associate degree in Chemical Technology (Laboratory) preferred.</p>
