AmTrust Financial Services, a fast-growing commercial insurance company, has an immediate need for a Technical Claims Specialist in our Worker's Compensation Department. This person will focus on providing support and technical oversight for complex or high-risk workers compensation claims.    This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring 4 days per week on‑site and 1 day remote. <ul><li>Assume co-ownership for the outcomes on claims under oversight.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact and business owner for critical national initiatives, with ownership for how those programs are performing and their results.</li><li>Manage or participate as a SME in complex projects and initiatives for the WC line of business.</li><li>Participate with senior leadership with develop, implementation, and training to new process, technology, and metrics.</li><li>Responsible for LOB reserve adequacy, audits, reporting, etc.</li><li>Development of WC guidelines, policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.</li><li>Identify and pursue ways to reduce inefficiencies in claim processes.</li><li>Conduct training, drive initiatives, action planning, development planning, and process improvement within region.</li><li>Develop reports, evaluate trends, and drive outcomes within region.</li><li>Serve as subject matter expert for the claims group and assist in cross departmental projects and initiatives.</li></ul>

<ul><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">CPCU, AIC designation, adjuster licensing program or other industry training programs a plus</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">7-10+ years of Workers Compensation claim handing experience.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Ability to manage highly technical claim staff.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Ability to mentor, train, and be a leader within the organization.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Ability to provide claim oversight and direction on complex claim issues.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Strong communication skills with ability to present to senior leadership.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Knowledge source for adjusters</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Ability to develop reports, metrics, and process improvement plans.</li><li style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Ability to independently manage multiple projects and project teams.</li></ul>The expected salary range for this role is $115,000-140,000 annual. Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
