Job responsibilities
<ul>
 <li>Partners and collaborates with product, architecture, security and operations teams prioritize reliability and embed best practices across the software development lifecycle to improve operations across the Branch Products.&nbsp;</li>
 <li>Lead and develop resilient software solutions that improve reliability, scalability and system performance of the Branch Systems.&nbsp;</li>
 <li>Leads evaluation sessions with external and internal teams to outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture.</li>
 <li>Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others</li>
 <li>Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies</li>

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
<ul>
 <li>Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.&nbsp;</li>
 <li>Full-stack development with Java and the Spring ecosystem to build and maintain scalable applications.</li>
 <li>Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages/platforms, such as: Java, Spring Boot, Photon, React or TypeScript, SQL, Restful Microservice, AWS,&nbsp; Kubernetes, and Postgres.</li>
 <li>Prior experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Web Services</li>
 <li>Recent experience with a cloud platform (such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry/AWS) or container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes</li>
 <li>Experience leading technology projects and managing technologists</li>
 <li>Ability to design and architect new applications utilizing leading edge technologies</li>
 <li>Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines</li>
