Core Responsibilities

<ul>
	<li>Retrieve job related information (job routings, part drawing, tool list, work-instruction, in-process inspection sheet).</li>
	<li>Complete manufacturing of first part per process instruction.</li>
	<li>Operate CNC lathes including set-ups / changeovers, offset adjustments, part program selection, change of inserts, tooling, etc.</li>
	<li>Proficient in the use of standard thread gauging devices.</li>
	<li>Inspect and document parts according to in-process inspection sheet requirements.</li>
	<li>Troubleshoot parts, equipment, and tooling when issues occur.</li>
	<li>Document completion of all required processes by QMS system</li>
	<li>Demonstrate basic manufacturing line knowledge and participate in process improvement.</li>
	<li>Achieve production output and quality per standards.</li>
	<li>Complete tasks as assigned with limited supervision.</li>
	<li>Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and performs operative maintenance (cooling fluid, machine adjustments, etc.)</li>
	<li>Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.</li>
	<li>Participate the execution of housekeeping programs required to ensure facility cleanliness.</li>
	<li>Provide end-of-shift report detailing activities of the shift.</li>
	<li>Provide hands on assistance and support as needed for maintenance personnel.</li>
</ul>

Job Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>Minimum 5 years’ experience industrial manufacturing and operational activities.</li>
	<li>2 years experience setting up and operating CNC milling and/or turning machines.</li>
	<li>Seamless Pipe Mill experience preferred.</li>
	<li>Seamless Tube Threading Shop experience preferred.</li>
	<li>Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems experience.</li>
	<li>Ability to read technical drawings.</li>
	<li>Experience using measuring tools and gauges.</li>
	<li>Experience with Mitsubishi Control with CELOS MAPPS operating system preferred.</li>
	<li>Experience with DMG MORI machines preferred.</li>

Operator - CNC Threading (Shreveport, LA, US)

Operator

Minimum 5 years in industrial manufacturing; 2 years setting up and operating CNC milling/turning; experience with Mitsubishi CELOS MAPPS and DMG MORI preferred; able to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.

Position Overview: &nbsp;

Threads pipe as needed for compressor units.

Responsibilities/Job Duties:

<ul style="margin-bottom:13px;">
	<li style="margin-left:8px;">Installs threaded piping to Engineering specifications</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px;">Cut and thread pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws and pipe threaders</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px;">Support a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px;">Adhere to company policy, procedures, and rules</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px;">Adhere to safety requirements by wearing appropriate protective gear</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px;">Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px;">Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet plant requirements</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px;">Need minimal instructions of pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job</li>

Ability to read isometric pipe drawings; familiarity with manufacturing/fabrication; operate in fast-paced shop; read tape measures (US units); read a level; use hand/power tools; welding knowledge (GMAW/MIG); HS diploma or equivalent; competency test: cut and thread pipe.
