<p><strong>NOTE: &nbsp;THIS POSITION WILL HIRE AND START EMPLOYMENT IN SPARKS NV AND TRANSFER TO ALASKA WHEN PROJECT BEGINS.</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The Project Controls Analyst will be responsible for the planning and performance monitoring of assigned&nbsp;<br>projects, including providing guidance to operational managers through the implementation of project controls processes, procedures, and contracts. The incumbent will track performance daily, weekly, and monthly, and incorporate quantitative and qualitative analysis, to define both the physical and the economic performance of the projects and recommend action to be taken should deviations from the optimal performance be highlighted.&nbsp;<br><br>The incumbent will work to ensure that the business objectives of Redpath USA Corporation are consistently&nbsp;<br>achieved by developing, implementing, and maintaining the project baseline and project execution plans and&nbsp;<br>estimates, inclusive of setting up all project administrative aspects.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><div><p>1. Compile and define the controls baselines for projects, including the development of project execution&nbsp;<br>plans and project controls procedures.&nbsp;<br>2. Administrative set up of new projects, including timekeeping, reporting, chart of accounts and document&nbsp;<br>management.<br>3. Ensure that the Management of Change process is being maintained and integrated with Redpath's&nbsp;<br>policies, procedures, contracts, and financial systems.&nbsp;<br>4. Participate in compiling, updating, and tracking project costs and schedules (InEight [HD], Primavera&nbsp;<br>and/or MS Projects, SharePoint, and JD Edwards).&nbsp;<br>5. Implement proper controls to monitor project budget performance, re‐allocation of costs and to ensure&nbsp;<br>that monthly costs, cash, and resource requirements are forecasted to project completion.&nbsp;<br>6. Implement and maintain earned value management on assigned projects.<br>7. Report on project key performance indicators, daily, weekly and monthly.&nbsp;<br>8. Monitor trends to identify issues potentially impacting on policies, procedures, schedule, costs, project&nbsp;<br>scope, risks and/or safety related issues.&nbsp;<br>9. Prepare and finalize the close‐out reports.<br>10. If required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements&nbsp;<br>to be an eligible user of company vehicles. Good understanding of general business interfaces and/or processes as they related to human resources,&nbsp;<br>procurement, engineering, construction operations, accounting, and administration departments.<br>2. Comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft Office, scheduling Software (MS Projects or Primavera) and measurement and estimating software.<br>3. Good conceptual skills in understanding relationships between projects, the overall organization and its&nbsp;<br>environment, and how change in one part of the project affects the whole project.&nbsp;<br>4.
