Senior Developers I take on complex technical tasks, influence architectural decisions, and champion engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle, with particular emphasis on designing scalable and maintainable APIs and event-driven systems within AWS.</p><p>They balance strong execution with long-term system health and maintainability, working independently with minimal oversight while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners. They apply sound judgment, drawing on established best practices and proven patterns to deliver effective, sustainable solutions.</p><p>Senior Developer Is are also expected to participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production systems as needed. This position represents a key milestone in the technical career track and may serve as either a long-term role or a stepping-stone toward advanced technical leadership.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><div><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that meets product requirements and local development to production deployment in AWS.</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Define and manage AWS infrastructure as code.</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Design and implement APIs, Cron applications, and Queue consumers making use of an eventing system to support scalable and decoupled systems.</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Work with relational and non-relational databases to design efficient schemas and optimize performance.</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Troubleshoot production issues and advocate for system reliability, observability, and continuous improvement.</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Provide technical mentorship and guidance to other developers, helping them navigate challenges and grow their expertise.</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Participate in the team’s on-call rotation and assist in incident response when necessary.</li><li style="tab-stops:list .5in;">Contribute to improving team workflows,
