Position Summary
The Systems Engineer position will work within a software engineering team to develop and maintain new software applications. These systems include intricate manufacturing data collection and reporting solutions, integrations, and other features.
This team has a strong focus on improving the work environment for our manufacturing supervisors and team leaders by removing paperwork burden and making information easy to find. In other words, we want to focus on the data so they can focus on their jobs and their people. If you want to work within an agile environment that focuses on applying best practices to solve complex business problems, this may be a good fit.
 
Position Responsibilities
The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:
<ul>
<li>Develop new Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) applications and functions in ASP.Net.</li>
<li>Support existing features with a heavy emphasis on refactoring for reliability and maintenance reductions.</li>
<li>Support and extend internal web APIs and integrate with external APIs and SDKs.</li>
<li>Support and extend existing Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) systems.</li>
<li>Design and implement technical solutions and optimizations.</li>
<li>Communicate with external stakeholders as needed during design, development and support.</li>
<li>Communicate closely with teammates and management to prevent and quickly resolve blockers, and to ensure alignment.</li>
<li>Other tasks and duties as assigned.</li>

As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer on the Crunchtime Suite team, you will be a key contributor to the evolution of our enterprise platform. As this is an R&amp;D environment, our technology stack is intentionally flexible; however, our current technical direction leans towards Java and relational databases, with an eye toward event-driven architecture using streaming integrations like Kafka.

<li>Improve tooling and software that comprises the Crunchtime Suite, including potential Web UI, APIs, and other forms of integration between services.</li>
<li>Contribute to and influence design and development decisions across the Suite.</li>
<li>Work within a self-managing system using Sociocracy to drive continuous flow and value delivery.</li>
<li>Engage tight feedback loops with stakeholders to evolve our processes and optimize customer value.</li>
<li>Maximize throughput and minimize risk by using Pair Programming, TDD, CI/CD, and other DevOps best practices.</li>
<li>Use Jira, Slack, and Zoom to maintain high transparency and communicate effectively with your team and leadership.</li>
</ul>
