OVERVIEW: The Yard Team Member is responsible for assisting Yard Team Leader with coordinating and maintaining an efficient flow of traffic for all departments and maintaining an organized yard with operable equipment.
  KEY TASKS:     
<ul>
<li>Assist with check-in procedures of new boats delivered to the dealership</li>
<li>Maintain an organized and professional showroom and yard</li>
<li>Operate a hydraulic jack or hoist as needed</li>
<li>Perform general maintenance at facility, including small repairs, lawn maintenance and dock maintenance</li>
<li>Safe operation of company vehicles, forklifts and equipment, including trailer handling</li>
<li>Provide vehicle and equipment maintenance</li>
<li>Assist in the delivery of product to customer whenever needed, including but not limited to delivering trailer boats, cleaning boats with appropriate products</li>
<li>Assist forklift and detail teams when needed</li>
<li>Assist with set up of boat shows and other on/off-site promotional events</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>

Assist with yard operations, check-in boats, maintain yard and showroom, operate hydraulic jack/hoist, perform maintenance, operate vehicles and equipment, assist in deliveries and events.

The Yard Team Member is responsible for greeting and assisting customers throughout the yard, as well as monitoring the receipt and loading of merchandise in the assigned area following company policies and procedures.
Job duties:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for ensuring Fleet Farm’s merchandise presentation standards are in place in the yard and surrounding work areas.</li>
<li>Ensure displayed merchandise in the store is seasonally relevant, properly secured, and well represented.</li>
<li>Responsible for maintaining backroom locator accuracy within yard area.</li>
<li>Ensure all yard merchandise is properly wrapped and stored in a way that will prevent it from being weather damaged.</li>
<li>Effectively load correct merchandise into customers’ vehicles while following all safety guidelines.</li>
<li>As requested, locate sale and promotional items to replenish stock during operating hours.</li>
<li>Transport product throughout the facility while safely operating a forklift or other material handling equipment.</li>
<li>Ensure lumber is being culled per company guidelines.</li>
<li>Maintain a working knowledge of product placement in the yard to be able to better assist and direct our customers.</li>
<li>Maintain all car side pickup signage and cones in the yard.</li>
<li>Positive promotion of Fleet Farm customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.</li>
</ul>
 
Job Requirements and Education:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.</li>
<li>Ability to be certified to operate a forklift and other material handling devices.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Warehouse environment can expose temperature fluctuations (hot/cold), noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces.</li>
