University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to clients in Westland, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and follow care plans.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as confidentiality requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or related field is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
- Ability to pass background checks.
Benefits
- Hourly pay rate ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 based on experience.
