The Area Manager oversees multiple retail stores within a designated district and reports to the District Manager. Responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, driving sales growth, and maintaining adherence to company standards, the Area Manager plays a critical role in the overall success of the district. This role involves frequent travel, team supervision, and strategic planning to achieve business objectives.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage day-to-day operations of stores within the assigned district area.
- Utilize company reporting tools to analyze sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets.
- Recruit, train, and mentor Store Managers to build and maintain high-performing teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Conduct regular store visits to provide support, identify issues, and offer performance coaching.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with store teams to reduce shrinkage and overstock.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the rollout of marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Prepare and present performance reports to the District and Regional Manager.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in retail management, with 2+ years in a multi-unit supervisory role preferred
