Job Description

Now Hiring - Volunteer Coordinator 

Location: North Wales, PA

Hours: M-F 8:30Am-5:00PM (Occasional evening and weekend)

The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for, but is not limited to:

  1. Participates in presentations and marketing of the volunteer program
  2. Assists with volunteer interviews, reference checks and initial volunteer screening
  3. Orients new volunteers to facilities and homes
  4. Assists with the preparation of monthly volunteer timesheets and volunteer notes
  5. Schedules and conducts volunteer training
  6. Provide ongoing support and recognition for volunteers through telephone calls and visits
  7. Identifies and reports any and all infractions of volunteers, with regard to legal parameters, confidentiality and boundary issues
  8. Organizes and works with volunteers for health fairs and events
  9. Completes filing, typing and mailings and computer work as assigned

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).

Professional Experience:

  • Preferably 2-4 years
  • experience in a related capacity
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable source of transportation
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and rganizational skills
