    Housatonic Valley Regional High School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Volunteer Track Coach for the 2026 spring season.

    Position
    Volunteer Track Coach
    Spring 2026 Season (March 2026 � June 2026)

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in leading and supervising the track program during the spring season
    • Plan and conduct practices
    • Support student-athletes in developing athletic skills, sportsmanship, teamwork, and character
    • Attend and supervise meets and team activities
    • Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive team culture
    • Communicate effectively with student-athletes, families, and school staff

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma required
    • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
    • Completion of required concussion training and sudden cardiac arrest awareness training
    • Valid Connecticut 5-Year Coaching Permit or Emergency Coaching Permit
    • Successful completion of fingerprinting/background check
    • Prior coaching and/or track and field experience preferred

    Compensation

    • Volunteer position; no salary or benefits provided
