About the Role:
The Technical Writer will play a crucial role in the Business Services industry by creating clear and concise technical documentation that supports our products and services. This position requires a deep understanding of complex technical concepts and the ability to translate them into user-friendly content. The end result of this role is to ensure that all documentation is accurate, accessible, and meets the needs of our diverse audience. The Technical Writer will also be responsible for maintaining and updating existing documentation to reflect changes in products or services. Ultimately, this role contributes to enhancing user experience and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical writing and documentation.
- Active SCI Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with web content management systems.
- Familiarity with producing white papers and technical reports.
- Knowledge of content management best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, white papers, and online help guides.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
- Manage content within a content management system, ensuring that all materials are organized and easily accessible.
- Create and maintain templates for various types of documentation to ensure consistency and adherence to branding guidelines.
- Review and edit documentation for clarity, grammar, and adherence to company standards.
