Flynn's Tire is looking for dependable, honest, enthusiastic, respectful, team-oriented people to become part of our family. We are seeking an individual to support our tire purchasing and inventory team to efficiently manage product inventories and ensure proper controls.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Coordinate physical inventories by assigning counting equipment, preparing the accounting system to receive and load counts, and reconcile count variances
- Monitor stock levels and adjust stocking strategies to meet sales and inventory goals
- Support the records in inventory master files for stock keeping unit updates and additions
- Prepare and distribute reports on a defined schedule
- Inventory and pricing data entry into various POS and accounting software packages
- Coordinate the movement of inventory between suppliers, warehouses, and retail stores
- Implementing best practices to improve warehouse and retail store inventory efficiencies
Education and Experience
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Knowledge of relevant software applications, especially Excel
- Proficient in data entry and management
- Automotive or Accounting experience is a plus
