Job Description

Senior Frontend Developer (React + API Integration)

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be the bridge between elegant user interfaces and robust backend services. We aren't just looking for someone who can "make things pretty"; we need an architect who understands how data flows through a modern web application and how to optimize that journey for the user.

### Core Responsibilities

  • Architectural Leadership: Design and maintain scalable frontend architectures using React.js, ensuring modularity and performance.
  • State Management & Data Flow: Implement complex state management solutions (e.g., Redux Toolkit, React Query, or Zustand) to handle asynchronous data and server state.
  • Advanced API Integration: Consume RESTful or GraphQL APIs with a focus on security, error handling, and data normalization.
  • Performance Optimization: Audit and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, focusing on Core Web Vitals and efficient rendering patterns.
  • Mentorship: Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior/mid-level developers to maintain high code quality standards.

### Technical Requirements

  • React Mastery: 5+ years of professional experience with React (Hooks, Context API, Suspense).
  • State & Fetching: Deep experience with TanStack Query (React Query) or SWR for efficient caching and synchronization with the backend.
  • TypeScript: Strong proficiency in writing type-safe code to reduce runtime errors.
  • Browser Mechanics: Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (CSS-in-JS, Tailwind, or SCSS), and the DOM.
  • Testing: Proficiency in unit and integration testing using Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
  • Tooling: Experience with modern build tools like Vite, Webpack, and CI/CD pipelines.

### Preferred "Bonus" Skills

  • Experience with Next.js and Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
  • Knowledge of GraphQL (Apollo Client).
  • Familiarity with WebSockets for real-time data updates.

  • A keen eye for UX/UI design principles and accessibility (a11y).

    Compensation, Benefits and Duration

    Minimum Compensation: USD 40,000

    Maximum Compensation: USD 140,000

    Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
