About the Opportunity


 




We are looking for someone energetic, driven, and adventurous to take on the AM West Team Leader role with FCM Travel Solutions. The Team Leader is the person that is responsible for the success of their team by providing direction and vision for the team.  The primary role is to develop and grow the team through continuous training and monitoring process efficiencies.  The Team Leader works with Travel Managers and the Area Leader to ensure the best results.  The Team Leader leads by example, is disciplined, nurtures, develops, and shares information.

Key Responsibilities






  • People Leadership & Development




    • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to the Account Management team

    • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and development planning

    • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

    • Support hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, and succession planning


     


    Customer & Program Management Oversight  



    • Maintain strong knowledge of FCM’s value proposition, technology, and solutions

    • Guide Account Managers in building and executing effective customer business plans

    • Ensure delivery of proactive, data-driven insights and recommendations to clients

    • Act as an escalation point for customer issues and complex situations

    • Build and maintain relationships within the broader business travel community


     


    Commercial & Performance Accountability 


    • Monitor account performance across retention, revenue, adoption, and satisfaction metrics.

    • Ensure contractual commitments and service delivery standards are consistently met.

    • Partner with Sales, Operations, and cross-functional teams to support renewals and growth.

    • Identify opportunities for cross-sell and value-added services.

Experience & Qualifications





  • 3–5+ years of Account Management experience.

  • Demonstrated people leadership experience.

  • Understanding of corporate travel technology and supplier dynamics.

  • Strong relationship-building, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Financial and analytical capability with strong data literacy.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $95,000 plus monthly incentives. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
