Job Description

Position Summary



The Line Technician role is responsible for setting up and operating machines on the assigned production line while maintaining safe work practices. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, problem solving skills, and experience in machine diagnosis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities




  • Operate assigned production equipment, completing start-up/shut-down procedures, operating all assigned production lines in a safe, efficient, & productive manner while maximizing output.

  • Work efficiently to maintain line speed to keep production flowing smoothly and prevent piles of pipe from forming.

  • Perform corrective maintenance, repairs, or changeovers, performing mechanical adjustments to equipment, as needed during production.

  • Compete electric work as per job requirements and training under NFPA 70E electrical and arch flash requirements.

  • Operate forklift to move finished product.

  • Support the block change / changeover process as required.

  • Verify that finished goods meet Prinsco’s quality standards, Identifying and reporting defects or improper machine operations immediately.

  • Complete accurate, real-time reporting as required.

  • Supporting ongoing safety efforts, demonstrating appropriate behaviors, and correcting others as needed.

  • Assist other team members, as needed.

  • Focus on cross-training, continuous learning, and improvement.

  • Train to assist with leadership accountabilities.

  • Participate and support the Continuous Improvement (CI) culture.

  • Complete other duties as assigned.
