Lead the charge in safety, health, and environmental excellence.
We’re looking for a proven HSE leader to develop, implement, and continuously improve programs that elevate safety, ergonomics, and environmental performance across our Commercial Distribution network. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, offering the opportunity to influence facilities, processes, and policies while partnering with leaders across the organization to drive measurable, year‑over‑year improvements.
Key Responsbilities:
- Under general direction, develops, implements and monitors programs that drive year-over-year increases in safety and ergonomics and maintain highest environmental quality standards across the Commercial Distribution network.
- Involved in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and makes health, safety and environmental (HSE) recommendations accordingly.
- Develops methods to drive continuous improvement of HSE practices.
- Responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating environmental and policy and procedure manuals.
- Ensures compliance with all HSE regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.
- Serves as contact with all regulatory bodies. May provide work direction to others.
- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 5 years related experience.
- CSP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Full knowledge of health, safety, environmental and workers compensation best practices.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills that result in effective communications.
- Strong presentation skills to senior executives.
- Knowledge of developing and implementing training programs.
- Must have proven success in driving continuous improvement in HSE.
- Lean and Six Sigma preferred.
- Experience using Apollo Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), or similar robust problem solving tools preferred.
Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $92,800 - $121,800 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
