Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Huizhou Shatian Site is currently seeking applicants for a Process Engineer. Responsible for planning and optimizing all manufacturing processes (e.g. capacitor fab processes, handling processes, test processes, transportation processes, etc.) for both VISHAY and/or SubCon sites, as assigned and undertaking deep-dive analytics, generates specific functional concepts in an assigned subject, and thus contributes to a team assignment or overarching (local, regional, or global) projects. May lead specific workstreams or local projects.

Vishay Components (Huizhou) Co., Ltd, one of the subordinate corporations of Vishay Group, one of the hundred foreign investigated enterprises of Huizhou, located at Danshui Town, Huiyang District, Guangdong Province. It takes about 1 hour to drive from Shenzhen. We have more than 2000 employees; mainly manufacturing Inductor, Tantalum Capacitor, Non-liner Resistor & Ceramic Capacitor. We got ISO9002、ISO14000 and TS16949 certificates in January 1995、August 1999 and January 2007 respectively.
What you will be doing:
- NPI & Process Development: Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including DFM/DFA reviews, process validation, and ramp-up. Develop and maintain critical documentation such as BOMs, Work Instructions (WI), Process Flow Charts, and PFMEAs.
- Production Excellence & Yield Optimization: Monitor daily production performance, utilize SPC to identify trends, and drive continuous improvement (CI) projects to enhance yield, reduce cycle time, and minimize scrap.
- Root Cause Analysis & Troubleshooting: Serve as the technical owner for line stoppages and quality escapes. Conduct thorough failure analysis using 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone methodologies to implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions.
- Customer & Supplier Collaboration: Partner with Marketing and Sales to translate customer-specific requirements into actionable process specifications. Collaborate with suppliers on material qualification and process improvements to ensure total customer satisfaction.
What you will bring along:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Process Engineering within an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in quality tools including PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and DOE. Advanced skills in data analysis software (Minitab, JMP, or similar). Strong ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues on the shop floor with a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
- CET-4 or equivalent; professional proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required for reporting and cross-functional communication.
- Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or IRIS 22163 is preferred.
