Pricing Analyst


Location - Belleville, ON


 


 


Job Responsibilities:


 



  • Develop costs and perform capability analyses for incoming quotation requests.

  • Assist in more complex projects

  • Process requests for quotations for engineered solution products by establishing recommended selling price, accurate cost estimate, and proper lead time

  • Interpret blueprints and enter dimensions into pricing tool

  • Must be able to work collaboratively with Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Quality and Technical teams to ensure accuracy of proposals and delivered products


 


 


Position Accountabilities


 



  • Analyze sales and margin data to determine how a price change or implementation will affect the division’s profitability

  • Identify opportunities for sales and margin improvement through analysis

  • Work under clear objectives, with defined procedures and processes

  • Maintain a working knowledge of existing and new products & services


 


 


The successful applicant will have:


 



  • Mechanical Engineering/technician/machining/welding background 

  • Manufacturing background with foundry and machining experience

  • Proven computer skills with experience in MS Office, ERP applications and SAP

  • Strong technical skills, consistent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Blueprint reading required

  • Must possess above average interpersonal skills and business acumen

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Metallurgical Production Environment preferred

  • Must be eligible for the Controlled Goods Program

  • General knowledge of one or more of the following industries is preferred: Oil &

  • Gas, Power Generation, Aerospace, mining, agriculture, castings, overlay applications and construction wear solutions
