    School Social Worker – Middle School (10-Month)

     

    ROSELLE PARK PUBLIC SCHOOLS
    Position: School Social Worker – Middle School (Immediate Hire)
    Tenure Track:
    Length of Assignment: 10-month
    Start Date: ASAP

    Qualifications

     

    • Valid New Jersey School Social Worker certification.

    • Knowledge of IEP process and school-based intervention planning.

    • Strong consultation/collaboration skills with staff, students, and families.

    • Preferred: experience at the middle school level; experience supporting students with behavioral and social-emotional needs.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Participate in CST/IEP processes as assigned, including social history evaluations and team consultation.

    • Support attendance, behavior, and family outreach interventions.

    • Collaborate with administrators, teachers, CST members, related service providers, and community agencies.

    • Maintain documentation and confidentiality consistent with district procedures and legal requirements.
