As Sales Manager, you will position the hotel as a premier group, corporate, and transient destination while building meaningful partnerships and driving revenue growth.

Salary Range 

This position offers an annual base salary range of $65,000–$70,000 USD, based on experience and qualifications.

 

Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for proactively generating and managing Group, Business Transient, Leisure, and Extended Stay business. This role optimizes revenue while ensuring exceptional guest experiences and plays a key part in executing sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the Business Transient segment
  • Proactively solicit and manage a portfolio of accounts
  • Meet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Partner with the General Manager on sales and marketing strategies
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and client meetings
  • Identify leads and negotiate contracts to secure business
  • Participate in local community and industry organizations
  • Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure seamless service
  • Utilize sales systems to track performance and forecasting
  • Host or support quarterly client events as needed

 

Education & Experience

  • 3–5 years of hotel or hospitality sales experience
  • High School Diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Proven success in prospecting, negotiation, and closing
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with sales and catering systems

 

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Office-based with local and regional travel
  • Flexible schedule based on business needs
  • Ability to attend events and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation required
