Job Description

We are searching for a Technical Manager on our Solutions Delivery team. This position reports to the Director of Operations, Archival Implementation.  


In this role, you will take on many responsibilities within the business unit, including hiring, staffing, strategy, opportunity development, sales support, and other aspects of team development. Additionally, the role will have hands-on project responsibilities that support the team and our clients.

The right candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and be well rounded in the healthcare technology space. You will be expected to creatively solve complex problems and communicate effectively to customers, leadership, and your team.  


Working within the broader Data Archival team we will use strategy, organization, and professional knowledge to build new services, support our existing teams, and make great things happen. The position will require you to create goals that will support the growth and development within the Data Archival team.  


Responsibilities:  



  • Lead, onboard and manage a team of Solutions Delivery consultants, providing guidance and support  

  • Bring your unique perspective and experience to the table

  • Share knowledge and expertise with the team  

  • Build strong relationships with clients and coworkers  

  • Work closely with leadership, management, and the sales team to ensure we are hitting our quarterly and annual targets  

  • Work on projects and continue to develop methodology  

  • Create educational materials to support training and mentoring of new and existing team members  

  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify professional development opportunities for team members  

  • Understand technical requirements and the implementation process to support the Galen data archival project  

  • Validate and troubleshoot access issues  

  • Install, set-up, and execute initial project pre-requisites  

  • Develop and maintain documentation internal/external to support the implementation process  

  • Willing to build strong relationships with your clients   


Requirements:  



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with clients, stakeholders, facilitating discussions, and conveying technical concepts  

  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills  

  • Excellent research skills; Willingness to go the extra step to figure things out  

  • Willing to learn  

  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL  

  • Understanding of connection requirements for various platforms such as Oracle, Cache, MySQL, Postgres  

  • Familiarity and working knowledge of patient clinical EHR’s, patient financial systems and non-patient systems such as HR/Payroll, Materials Management, General Ledger, Accounts Payable systems  

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively  

  • Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role with meticulous attention to detail  


Other:  



  • Experience: 3+ years professional experience  

  • Education: Bachelor's in Information Systems or related field
