Social Media Content Specialist

The Certified Collectibles Group is seeking a Social Media Content Specialist to help shape the voice, presence, and cultural relevance of the world’s leading brands in numismatics - NGC and PMG – and collectibles. From iconic comic books and trading cards to rare coins and paper money, Certified Collectibles Group sits at the center of collector culture – and social is where those stories come to life.
As a Social Media Content Specialist, you’ll be both a hands-on creator and a social channel owner. Your role is two-fold: producing high-quality, platform-native content across our business verticals (cards, comics, home video, video game, coins, paper) and owning the day-to-day management of the NGC and PMG social channels.
You’ll play a central role in how our brands show up in the feed - concepting, capturing, editing, and publishing content that educates, inspires, and connects with collectors at every level. This role managed day-to-day social content creation of statis and dynamic content - including translating complex collectibles expertise into culturally fluent content, and selectively participating in trends for visibility. You will manage NGC and PMG content needs and support the Cards and Comics social page manager on their content needs.
In this role, you’ll take full operational ownership PMG and NGC channels - partnering closely with internal leaders to plan content, discuss strategy, manage calendars, uphold brand standards, and engage authentically with our communities.
Location:
Important: This role is primarily remote but requires occasional on-site content production at our headquarters in Sarasota, FL, one to two times per month. Qualified candidates must be able to commute to Sarasota with short notice.

This is a full-time, hybrid position working Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend support as required. There may be opportunities for travel, including weekends, to capture content on location.
The ideal candidate is a quality-first quick learner with a deep understanding of how to scale social communities - someone who takes pride in owning social pages end-to-end, delivering executional excellence, and producing high-impact content that drives meaningful engagement and long-term brand affinity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT SPECIALIST:
Content Creation & Execution
- Capture and edit short-form video content in batches using a variety of equipment, including smartphones, DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, mics, gimbals, lighting setups, etc. (comfortability in front of the camera is a plus)
- Edit video quickly and efficiently using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite and other equivalent software (motion graphics/animation experience a plus). Edits include, but are not limited to, cutting clips together, adding on-screen captions/stickers/GIPHYs, overlaying basic video effects, and utilizing other built-in tools.
Ideation, Trend Monitoring & Implementation
- Proactively monitor social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats across Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X to identify timely opportunities relevant to collectibles audiences
- Translate trends into brand-appropriate, original content concepts that align with business goals, platform best practices, and brand voice
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement trends efficiently - adapting creative, copy, and production approach based on real-time insights
- Stay fluent in creator-led and community-driven trends within the collectibles space to ensure content feels current, credible, and culturally relevant
Social Page Ownership
- Serve as the day-to-day social page manager for NGC and PMG, owning content planning, scheduling, publishing, and optimization across platforms
- Partner closely with NGC and PMG leadership and marketing stakeholders to align social content with brand priorities, campaigns, and business objectives
- Maintain content calendars and workflows for NGC and PMG, ensuring deadlines are met and cross-functional inputs are incorporated efficiently
Copywriting & Social Engagement
- Deep understanding of what drives performance in social media copy
- Translate complex or niche collectible knowledge into accessible, engaging posts for diverse audiences
- Collaborate with internal teams to request or concept compelling graphics that meet brand standards
WHAT MAKES YOU THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of professional experience in social media content creation and page management
- Proven ability to shoot and edit video independently across platforms
- Expert-level knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, and Reddit
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or other editing software
- Strong understanding of social copywriting
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance optimization
- Basic motion design or animation experience
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability and willingness to travel for on-site content capture as needed
Preferred skills
- Experience in and/ or passion for collectibles, gaming or pop culture industries - familiarity with Numismatics is a plus
- Experience working with content calendars, and social management or scheduling software (i.e. Hootsuite, Sprout, Sprinklr, Meltwater, Hubspot, etc.)
- Photography and lighting experience is a plus
- Experience with basic graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.) is a plus
