THE OPPORTUNITY:
This person will report directly to the Director of Sales and will be responsible for selling NOVONIX Hardware and Software products, and Research & Development Services, as needed, to new customers. In the role of Regional Sales Manager, you will be joining a world-class Sales team that is delivering innovative solutions to tough problems.
This position is fully onsite and working from our Dartmouth office location. Currently, the working hours for this role are 8:30 am to 4:30pm. Please note that as our company evolves, working arrangements, locations, and hours may change to meet business needs.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• You will use your skills to develop opportunities through both warm leads and new customer prospecting
• Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts
• Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives
• Coordinate internal NOVONIX resources to meet customer business needs
• Perform account planning at assigned prospects, and new customers that you onboard
• Drive growth within an existing assigned customer base
• Other duties as assigned
WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU BRING:
• Have a strong technical background, with the ability to understand complex customer needs and align products to help them solve their problem
• Able to strategize with an extended team
• A highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative.

• Relentless in pursuit of customer satisfaction
• A skilled communicator and storyteller
• Able to travel in assigned region up to 25% of the time
To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following:
· Be an experienced salesperson with at least 5 years of full cycle sales experience, and at least 2 years in a technical sales role involving hardware and software solutions
· Be experienced in management of at least one large key account
· Be experienced with high-level knowledge of how to use modern CRM and presentation tools.
And it would be extra awesome, if you also have:
• Experience or education in Electrochemistry, Physics, Chemistry, etc.
• Experience managing distributors in different regions
• Experience selling or using laboratory instrumentation, or other equipment (i.e.. battery testing equipment) used in the battery industry
