Position Overview 

  • We are looking for a high-energy, field-based sales professional to grow the Hometown Employer Services across your assigned Ohio territory. This is a door-to-door, relationship-first outside sales for small- medium size businesses.  
  • This role is ideal for someone who thrives on being out in the field, starting conversations with business owners, and closing deals — not sitting behind a desk. You own your territory. And your earning potential is directly tied to how hard and how smart you work. Top performers in comparable sales roles earn $65,000+ in Year 1. 

Responsibilities 

  • Visit local businesses in your assigned Ohio territory — restaurants, retail shops, construction firms, landscapers, manufacturers, and service businesses with 5–100 employees 
  • Introduce and present the Hometown Services to business owners and key decision-makers 
  • Execute a consultative sales conversation: understand the employer's situation, present the ROI, handle objections, and close the enrollment 
  • Build and manage a territory prospect pipeline of 250–400 active target businesses in CRM  
  • Maintain consistent daily outreach  
  • Track all activity, prospects, and pipeline progress in CRM 
  • Attend local Chamber of Commerce events, business association meetings, and networking events to build relationships 
  • Coordinate with the Membership Enrollment Team to ensure smooth employer onboarding and employee packet delivery 
  • Report weekly activity and territory pipeline
