Job Overview

LaMarca Construction is seeking a driven and personable Commercial聽Project Manager to lead nationwide hotel renovation projects from inception through closeout. In this full-time, onsite role, you'll manage everything from budgeting and scheduling to subcontractor negotiation and client coordination. We're looking for a leader who can handle multiple projects, communicate effectively with superintendents and subcontractors, and maintain strong attention to detail-especially when tracking change orders and managing budgets. Occasional short-term travel to project sites is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple hotel renovation projects nationwide from planning to completion
  • Prepare and manage subcontractor scopes of work and negotiate subcontracts
  • Draft and track change orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain control over project budgets and schedules
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, site superintendents, and subcontractors
  • Travel to project sites on a short-term basis as needed to support project execution
  • Ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations
  • Use construction management software and tools to manage documentation and reporting

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with field and office teams
  • Experience with managing subcontractors and change orders
  • Familiarity with construction management software and strong general computer skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Professional, personable demeanor with a can-do attitude
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites across the U.S.
