Warehouse / Stockroom Manager

Rodelco Electronics, a privately held business located on Long Island, New York is looking for a Warehouse / Stockroom Manager to support our Military/Defense electronics manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will be experienced in overseeing the company�s shipping/receiving functions as well as organizing and maintaining the stockroom. This person must have adequate physical strength to unload and package materials and the ability to multi-task in the following areas:

  • Assists in planning and scheduling material releases to the production floor and outside manufacturing services.
  • Coordinates and manages the outsourcing of material and products for various manufacturing processes and finishes.
  • Supports and performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, kitting and distributing materials, parts and supplies.
  • Tracks and provides updates on the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Verify packages according to purchase orders and invoices.
  • Organizes and maintains stockroom area and materials.
  • Responsible for accurately issuing parts, materials and complete production kits for assembly operations.
  • Perform administrative functions such as assisting in maintaining inventory and cycle counts, maintaining shipping and receiving records and preparing routine reports.
  • Provides additional administrative support to Purchasing and Quality departments.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience in a high-technology electronics manufacturing environment
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Experience working with management in an administrative role
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good time management and organization skills
  • Valid Drivers License
  • US Citizenship required
