First Division Consulting is seeking a Senior Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support a Department of the Navy (DoN) customer at Patuxent River, MD. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) Airborne Systems Integration (ASI) Division announces its intention to procure, on a competitive basis, the services necessary to provide support for Sensor Engineering and Development (SED) to include research, planning, design, development, integration, and demonstration of sensor technologies and capabilities for a variety of manned and unmanned airborne platforms to include any shipborne, fixed, and/or mobile systems necessary to provide the full sensor capability with the ASI Division in support of Department of Navy (DON), Department of Defense (DoD), and other Government agency projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead advanced Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) drafting efforts to design, simulate, and analyze system behavior across manned and unmanned airborne, shipborne, fixed, and mobile platforms—including integrated sensor systems.
  • Refine MBSE tools, workflows, and methodologies to improve design accuracy, data traceability, and collaborative system integration.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver precise, high-quality 27 digital models that support mission-critical systems and drive the success of complex engineering projects.
