Lending Analyst
A meaningful next step in your banking career
If you’re looking to grow your influence and deepen your credit expertise, this Lending Analyst role offers the chance to work with more complex lending scenarios, strengthen your analytical capability, and play a key part in shaping customer outcomes. You’ll support frontline teams with high‑quality assessments, exercise sound judgement, and contribute to the exceptional service the organisation is known for.
You’ll be joining a collaborative, high‑performing credit team that’s committed to developing your skills and supporting your long‑term career growth.
Why this role stands out
This position is ideal for someone ready to move beyond processing or frontline support and into a role where your analysis and recommendations carry real weight. It provides a strong platform to build your credit capability and opens doors into future opportunities across credit, risk, and leadership.
You’ll gain: • Greater responsibility in assessing and recommending lending outcomes • Exposure to more complex Consumer and SME applications • Broader analytical experience across multiple credit portfolios • Increased visibility and collaboration across teams • Opportunities to demonstrate judgement, critical thinking, and customer focus • Clear pathways into senior credit, risk, and leadership roles.
What you’ll bring
You’re someone who communicates clearly, builds rapport quickly, and enjoys working through challenging scenarios. You may currently be in lending, customer support, business banking, or motor finance, but you’re ready for a role where your analytical capability and decision support make a tangible impact.
You thrive in fast‑moving environments, stay calm under pressure, and think logically when faced with competing priorities.
You bring strengths in:
• Lending experience and understanding of end‑to‑end credit processes
• Knowledge of CCCFA and relevant financial legislation
• Forming balanced, well‑reasoned Consumer and SME credit recommendations • Analysing financial information and identifying key risks
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail and confident negotiation skills.
