Why Custodians Matter Here
Our schools are more than buildings - they are hubs of learning, connection, and community. And custodians are at the heart of that mission. As highlighted in recent national reporting, custodians are often “the glue” that holds school communities together: the first to arrive, the last to leave, the steady, caring presence students rely on each day.
In this role, you won’t be working behind the scenes -you’ll be a trusted, appreciated, and visible member of our school family. Your work creates the environment where students feel safe, welcomed, and ready to learn.

-
Respond quickly to spills, accidents, and urgent custodial needs
-
Perform snow and ice removal, keeping campus accessible
-
Prepare spaces for learning, events, and community activities
-

-
Monitor building systems and report concerns
-

-
Support safety by identifying hazards and following OSHA standards
