IDD Crisis - Crisis Service Worker

Position Overview:
The Crisis Service Workers is a vital role, you will provide immediate support to adults experiencing behavioral health crises in a community setting—helping stabilize individuals and connect them to the services they need. This is a 24/7, 365-days-a-year service that makes a real difference in the lives of those we serve. 
 
Location/Schedule: 
179 Hidden Hills Road, Milledgeville, GA - 1 - full-time shift - Monday - Friday- 3pm-11pm and Every Other Weekends, and 1- part-time opening to work all shifts when needed. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor client behavior, report progress, and intervene in crisis situations using approved Mindset de-escalation techniques.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to clients based on assessed needs.
  • Document all interactions and services provided in client/unit records promptly and accurately.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Georgia driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
