    Qualifications:
    1. Must have an understanding of student-athlete safety and proper skill set training for
        coaching competitive interscholastic cross country.
    2. Ability to pass a background and criminal history check.
    3. Must possess and maintain a valid first aid/CPR/AED card.
    4. Must pass all training as designated by the OSAA and Jewell School District.


    Performance Responsibilities:

    Under the direct supervision of the school administration and AD, performs a variety of
    tasks; train student-athletes using safe and strenuous sport-specific exercise, supervise
    and teach student-athletes based upon the guidelines of all OSAA and Jewell School
    policies, deal with minor first aid situations that may occur, and keep the school district,
    parents, and public informed about student-athlete and team progress and achievement.
    Carry out other comparable duties as assigned by the AD.


    All employees must maintain a professional attitude and demeanor as representatives of
    the Jewell community and Jewell School.


    Base Salary: TBD per JEA 2026 collective bargaining agreement
    Benefits: N/A
    Start Date: Immediately. OSAA season begins August 17th, 2026
