Job Description

St. Francis Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Hospital Manager to lead our team in East Huntingdon, PA. This is a great opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about team development, operational excellence, and delivering high-quality patient and client care.

 

Position Overview
The Hospital Manager partners closely with the Chief of Staff and clinical team to ensure efficient daily operations, a positive client experience, and a collaborative, engaged team culture. This role blends people leadership with business and operational oversight.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hospital operations and optimize workflow

  • Lead, mentor, and develop support staff

  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance management

  • Partner with medical leadership to support quality care and client satisfaction

  • Monitor and drive financial performance, including budgeting and KPIs

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards

  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts

Qualifications

  • Previous veterinary hospital management or healthcare leadership experience preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Experience with P&L management and team operations

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
