Job Description

Position Responsibilities

  • Create 1–2 short-form vertical videos per month that highlight the student experience at Ursinus from your unique perspective. Content will be shared on official Ursinus College social media accounts and may also appear on ursinus.edu.
  • Students are encouraged to share content on their personal social media accounts to help build their own personal brand (optional).
  • Assist with the creation of other digital content as needed, in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team.
  • Attend key campus events to support content capture and assist with real-time social media efforts.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in creating social media content, especially Instagram Reels and TikTok.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity and a passion for storytelling through video.
  • Outgoing personality with a willingness to engage others in your content.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends, depending on events.
  • Attend bi-weekly team meetings at Sprankle Hall for planning, feedback, and creative brainstorming.
