Description

St. Edward-Epiphany Catholic School in Chesterfield, VA is seeking an enthusiastic instructional aide for early elementary grades for the 2026-27 school year. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support teachers in fostering academic and social growth
• Implement diocesan curriculum using 21st-century learning techniques
• Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities and lesson implementation
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students as directed by the teacher
• Reinforce lessons and help students stay engaged and on task
• Help prepare classroom materials, resources, and instructional displays
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, recess, and dismissal as needed
• Maintain a safe, organized, and respectful classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with teachers and staff regarding student needs and progress
• Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism and actively supporting the mission of the school 

Requirements

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible
