Job Description

DP World Brisbane is currently seeking a Production Coordinator to join our team based in our Fisherman Islands Terminal. The purpose of the role is to optimise the productivity of vessel, road and yard operations and ensure operational outcomes commensurate with Company expectations.

Key Accountabilities 

  • Responsible for the operational management of the automated operational systems and equipment in order to ensure maximum effectiveness, efficiency and co-ordination of all elements of product delivery.
  • Management and oversight of operational workflows.
  • Ensure the system is operated as per the directives of the Terminal Management.
  • Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure smooth interface of automated equipment & vessel/ road/ yard operations.
  • Primary point of contact for customers enquiries particularly in the event of system failures.
  • Coordinate production activities including liaising with National Planning to ensure that productivity is maximised to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Ensure leadership behaviour is consistent and actively demonstrates Company values.
  • Lead, monitor, review and demonstrate safe work behaviour and practices and lead by example.
  • Excellent knowledge of Terminal Operating Systems and Terminal Control Systems, operational procedures related to ship load and discharge operations, road and yard operations and receival and delivery processes.
  • Highly developed communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with an ability to present to senior management.
  • Excellent people management skills and the ability to lead by example and coach others - team player.
  • Proven analytical, development and implementation abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and an ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Strong Computer literacy.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
