The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists occupational therapists in implementing therapy plans to help patients develop, recover, or maintain daily living skills and functions. They work directly with patients to provide therapeutic interventions and support, ensuring progress towards their individual goals.

The Certified Physical Therapist Assistant must have:

Graduated from an accredited OTA program

Valid license and registration for the state of VA

Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred
