Job Description
Overview:

Amivie Customcare is a leading provider of PCA and Waiver services for children, adults with disabilities, and the elderly across Minnesota. We are seeking Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help clients with a wide range of daily tasks, including personal care, homemaking, transportation, and community outings. If you're passionate about empowering individuals to live independently and thrive in their homes and communities, we invite you to join our team.

We also offer a flat gas reimbursement if eligible. 

PCA the rate is $17.50 an hour.

Any other services the rate is $20 an hour.

Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care Assistance: Help with daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, and mobility.

  • Safety and Mobility Support: Safely assist with lifting, turning, positioning, and transfers.

  • Health and Wellness: Provide medication reminders for pre-dosed medications, assist with skin care, and help with range-of-motion exercises.

  • Homemaking: Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.

  • Community Engagement: Drive clients to appointments, grocery stores, and other community outings.

  • Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in a client's health or behavior.

  • Clocking in and out using EVV


Qualifications:

 

  • We're looking for caring individuals who meet these basic qualifications:

    • Age: You must be 18 years or older.

    • Legal Status: You must be authorized to work in the United States.

    • Mobility: You must have reliable transportation to serve clients in their homes and communities.

    • Background Check: You must be able to pass a Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) background study.
