Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Fine Arts Teacher to join our high school team, beginning August 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching a variety of art courses. Candidates should be passionate about fostering creativity, building strong relationships with students, and contributing positively to the school community.

Qualifications:



  • Valid Vermont Educator’s License (7-12 Art) or eligibility for Vermont licensure.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.

  • Experience in proficiency-based instruction and assessment.

  • Familiarity with Infinite Campus or willingness to learn.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.


Responsibilities:



  • Develop and teach engaging, standards-based fine arts curriculum.

  • Implement proficiency-based instruction and reporting.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student creativity and artistic expression.

  • Provide constructive feedback and support student growth in artistic techniques and conceptual thinking.

  • Participate in school-wide events, exhibits, and activities that showcase student artwork.

  • Serve as an advisor to a small group of students, supporting their academic and personal development.

  • Maintain accurate and timely student records using Infinite Campus.
