Senior GL Accountant

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Seamlessly deliver monthly close activities, reconciliations, analysis and reviews
• Work with the global subs and to ensure proper accounting for intercompany transactions
• Guide business decisions by providing expert accounting and US GAAP knowledge
• Actively participate as a member of the Global Controlling team in the implementation of new projects, programs and systems
• Continuously challenge the status quo by identifying areas of improvement and assisting in process improvements
• Serve as a resource by developing in-depth knowledge of both systems and business processes at Specialized

 

wHAT YOU NEED TO WIN

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
•  5 years minimum experience with no less than 2 years of experience as a GL accountant
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• You’re goal focused with a strong natural desire to deliver tangible results and meaningful change on a regular basis
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willing and able to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty – we’re all hands on deck!

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• CPA license

• Experience with Oracle 11i or 12 and/or Hyperion HFM is a plus
• Consolidations experience within large or mid-size multi-national company
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups
