Job Description

About Our Role: 

The Senior Vice President, Finance & Accounting is responsible for the financial health, integrity, and performance of the company and its portfolio of managed hotels. This role partners closely with Castle Peak Holdings (CPH) and internal leadership to drive strategy, optimize returns, and ensure disciplined financial operations across both corporate and property levels.


Essential Functions:

  • Lead all accounting and operational finance functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and internal controls across corporate and property portfolios
  • Serve as primary financial partner to CPH; support investment strategy, underwriting, and asset performance analysis
  • Oversee monthly close process and consolidated financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Drive annual budget process, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis; provide actionable insights to Operations and Executive Leadership
  • Establish and enforce financial policies, controls, and standard operating procedures across all properties.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Revenue Management, and HR to improve profitability, labor efficiency, and cost controls
  • Build, mentor, and develop property and corporate finance/accounting teams


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience, ideally within hospitality or hotel management
  • Strong understanding of hotel financial drivers (labor, GOP, flow-through, RevPAR impact)
  • Experience partnering with ownership groups, investors, and/or asset managers
  • Strong technical accounting foundation and experience with audits and compliance
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Systems savvy (hotel PMS, accounting platforms, reporting tools)
