Assistant Principal Position


 


Merkel ISD is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Principal to join our leadership team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to support students, staff, and the school community in fostering a positive and high-achieving learning environment.


Position Highlights:



  • Assist in the administration and daily operations of the campus.

  • Support teachers in curriculum implementation, instructional strategies, and professional growth.

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.

  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to enhance student success.

  • Oversee student behavior management and implement positive intervention strategies.

  • Assist in scheduling, evaluations, and school-wide initiatives.


Qualifications:



  • Texas Principal Certification required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Passion for student achievement and educator support.
