A detail-oriented and highly organized Service Coordinator responsible for dispatching and supporting electrical service technicians, managing customer service requests, coordinating schedules, and ensuring timely completion of service work and special projects. This role serves as a central communication hub between customers, field personnel, project managers, and subcontractors while maintaining accurate work order documentation, supporting operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced service environment.

What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinate and dispatch electrical service technicians and field personnel for emergency service calls, scheduled maintenance, and special projects while optimizing manpower utilization, travel time, and customer response times.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming customer calls, emails, and service requests by gathering accurate job details, troubleshooting information, and determining urgency levels.
- Create, manage, and maintain service work orders within Trimble Viewpoint Spectrum, including customer information, project scope, labor allocations, material requirements, technician notes, and billing documentation.
- Schedule and communicate service appointments with customers, field technicians, subcontractors, inspectors, and project managers to ensure efficient execution and timely completion of work.
- Coordinate permit applications, inspection scheduling, utility notifications, and jurisdictional requirements to maintain project compliance and prevent delays.
- Support Service Project Managers with scheduling, manpower coordination, procurement tracking, project documentation, workflow management, and resource planning for special projects and ongoing service contracts.
- Monitor technician progress throughout the day by tracking job status, schedule changes, emergency requests, delays, material shortages, and customer updates while maintaining real-time communication with field personnel.
- Assist with work order closeout, customer documentation, and invoicing processes to ensure service calls are completed accurately, billed properly, and submitted within required deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, customer communications, inspection results, time entries, equipment usage, and project closeout documentation to support billing, reporting, and operational accountability.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by professionally handling scheduling conflicts, service escalations, emergency situations, and follow-up communications while maintaining strong customer relationships and company reputation.
