Overview

The Marketing & Technology Coordinator is an entry-level role that ensures the smooth execution of marketing initiatives while providing essential technology support to staff. This person will assist with content creation, social media, communications, and internal technology needs, helping the organization share its story, engage the community, and strengthen its brand.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creative marketing work while also being hands-on with technology and problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Marketing

  • Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, website updates, and internal communications.
  • Assist with designing graphics, videos, and other visual materials using Canva, Adobe, or similar tools.
  • Collect stories, photos, and updates from programs and staff to share organizational impact.
  • Support marketing campaigns, events, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Track engagement metrics and help optimize marketing efforts.

IT Support

  • Provide day-to-day support for staff technology issues (computers, software, devices).
  • Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
  • Help set up new devices, user accounts, and software installations.
  • Maintain inventory of technology assets and documentation.

Administrative Support

  • Assist with scheduling, project tracking, and internal communications.
  • Support special projects across marketing, IT, or other departments as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong content creation skills: writing, photography, videography, and basic graphic design.
  • Experience with social media management and website updates.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting technology and learning new systems quickly.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
