Job Summary:

Marvin and Betty Danto Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our residents by assisting in the washing, drying, and folding of linens. Responsibilities:

• Collect and sort soiled linen, load and unload machines, and fold clean linen
• Operate computer-operated washers and dryers
• Count and record the linen processed each day, make proper deliveries to units, and clean and sanitize the work area
• Deliver personal clothing to the appropriate resident
• Complete timely completion of assigned linen
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Ability to pull and push, carry up to 50 pounds, twist, bend, and reach from floor to waist height and from waist to chest level required
