The South Amboy School District has the following anticipated opening for the 2026-2027 school year.  Rate of pay will be as per negotiated agreement between the South Amboy Board of Education & the South Amboy Education Association:

MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL LITERACY COACH

Position Available Starting September 1, 2026

NJDOE Standard Certification Required:

Candidate must have at least one of the following:

• Elementary School (1001)
• Teacher of English (1410)
• English as a Second Language (1475)
• Teacher of Reading (1430)
• Middle School with Subject Matter Specialization English Language Arts (1106)

Reading Specialist (3310) Highly Preferred

Salary Starting at $67,581 annually
