BBB Midwest Plains serves Nebraska, a portion of Iowa, South Dakota, the Kansas Plains and Kansas City. We are seeking a successful candidate who is a dedicated self-starter, who will recruit businesses to join the BBB.

Job Description:

 

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for growing the BBB Accredited Business base by canvassing all sources for potential prospects, conducting outbound calls and responding to direct inquiries. A successful candidate will do their due diligence in establishing eligibility for accreditation, an honor earned by trustworthy businesses.

 

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Follow BBB code of ethics and proven phone script.
  • Be an ambassador of the BBB by representing it professionally and effectively at all times.
  • Meet minimum standards of performance activities, including a set number of outbound calls per day, and sales.
  • Explain BBB accreditation value, address questions and concerns, and procure application along with the monthly due's investment.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date notes on all business communications.
  • Meet personal budgeted sales targets as agreed upon.
  • Attend BBB sales meetings and other meetings as required.
  • Undertake other sales-related duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma.
  • Possess strong energy and a strong desire to achieve top results.
  • Highly motivated and dependable.
  • Possess the ability to effectively manage time and establish priorities.
  • Inside sales experience with the demonstrated ability to close the sale of an intangible product is a plus.
  • Participate in sales training and techniques.
  • Determined attitude for success.
  • Honest, ethical and sincere selling approach.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficient with the use of computer and software applications.
  • Strong sense of integrity and commitment to the BBB mission statement and values.
  • Autonomous and self-motivated; recognizes issues, problems and opportunities, responds quickly and takes independent action.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday – Friday ; reporting to the Omaha, NE office. Eligible for Hybrid work after 90-day training.
