Summary
Our Professional Services (PS) team partners with P&C insurers globally to implement and optimize Guidewire’s cloud platform. We work as a unified global team, enabling customers to adopt technology efficiently while driving continuous improvement and innovation.As a PMO – Senior Consultant, you will support the delivery of enterprise-scale implementation and transformation programs by enabling effective governance, tracking, and coordination across teams. You will work closely with Project Managers, cross-functional teams, partners, and customer stakeholders to ensure smooth execution, visibility, and alignment across projects.
Job Description
What you’ll do
Support end-to-end project delivery by assisting in planning, tracking, and execution across one or more implementation programs.
Drive PMO activities such as maintaining project plans, status reports, dashboards, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and governance documentation.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (as needed) and ensure adherence to delivery processes and standards.
Coordinate across cross-functional, onshore/offshore, and partner teams to ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
Track project progress, identify risks/issues, and proactively escalate to project leadership with recommended mitigation actions.
Support governance forums, including preparation of reports, tracking action items, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
Assist in financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting to support project and program-level visibility.
Collaborate with teams to adopt standardized tools, templates, and AI-enabled methods to improve delivery efficiency.
Ensure consistent communication and reporting to stakeholders, enabling transparency and informed decision-making.
What you’ll bring
Required:
6–8 years of overall experience, with relevant experience in PMO/project coordination within enterprise software or consulting environments.
Good understanding of project lifecycle (initiate–plan–execute–close) and PMO governance practices.
Experience supporting Agile delivery (Scrum or similar) and structured project management frameworks.
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional and distributed teams.
Proficiency with tools such as Jira or Rally, Confluence or SharePoint, and project tracking tools like Microsoft Project (or equivalent).
Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail in reporting and documentation.
Understanding of enterprise software implementation concepts such as integration, testing, and deployment.
Ability to leverage data and tools to track performance, improve reporting, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred:
Experience in P&C insurance or financial services domain.
Background in Professional Services or consulting environments.
Exposure to PMO tools, reporting dashboards, and governance frameworks.
Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum (nice to have).
